ABOUT

Hola!

My name is Ángela Sánchez or, as my students like to call me, Señora Sánchez.

I am native from Madrid, Spain. I obtained my Bachelor Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and I hold two Master Degrees, one from the “Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles” and the other one from the “Instituto de Empresa”

In 2012  I moved to State College and, since then, I have been teaching Spanish at Young Scholars. Here, I got married and I had my two kids, Daniel (3) and Nico (0).

My instructional approach aims is to facilitate a cultural understanding of the Spanish and Latin American world. I also want my students to obtain fluency in Spanish from an organic point of view, using a wide variety of strategies including, listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Hope this year comes with plenty of academic success for everyone.

See you soon!
