¡Bienvenidos!

Welcome to a new year! We are excited to start a new school year, see all our friends from last year and meet the new friends that are coming to our school for the first time.

During the first week of school, we will introduce ourselves and review the OWLS Expectations:

O: Own your actions

W: Make wise choices

L: Lead the way

S: Put safety first

A wonderful year is ahead of us, full of learning experiences, challenges, adventures and so much more!

- Tengo los ojos verdes, azules, marrones, pardos/ I have green, blue, brown, hazel eyes

- Tiene/ He or she has
- Soy moren@, rubi@, pelirroj@, castañ@ / I have dark brown (black), blond, red, brown hair
- Soy amable, inteligente, atlético, indagador, audaz, instruido, buen comunicador, íntegro, de mentalidad abierta, solidario, equilibrado, reflexivo, pensador/ I am kind, intelligent, athletic, inquirer, risk taker, knowledgeable, communicator, principled, open-minded, caring, balanced, reflexive, thinker. Please, note that these are the IB learner profiles
- Es/ He or she is

With the above-mentioned adjectives, besides building a vocabulary base, we aim to practice with gender agreement between the noun and the adjective.

With the older grades, we will also explore some special fictional characters, such as Don Quijote and Sancho Panza and will describe them as well.
